red letter words giveaway

So I was on etsy. Because sometimes I just can't stay away.
I was looking for something to put on the table with my books at an upcoming conference.
So that it doesn't just look like a table with a pile of books.
Have I mentioned that the thought of standing next to a table with my books
makes me start to sweat? I didn't? Well, that is another post entirely.
But while I was on etsy, I found Red LetterWords. And I was smitten.
Now I know that really you should just be smitten with people.
But I tend to get excited by decor.
First I saw this one.

and then I saw this one.

They reminded me of the part in Deuteronomy where it says to write God's commands on your door frames and your gates.
Incorporating scripture into our daily lives.
She has word pictures of Hannah's prayer and the sermon on the mount.
So of course I had to contact Dee, and tell her how I loved her work.
She was gracious enough to make a sign for my lonely books.

And was even more gracious in saying that she would do a giveaway here on the blog.
For all you tired supergirls out there.
So go over to Red LetterWords and then come back here and tell me your favorite sign in comments. Comments will be open until Thursday at 9:00 pm.
The winner announced on Friday gets to pick a picture of their choosing.
I'm especially partial to this one.

I may have to print it up and leave a picture of it on Scott's desk...
Valentine's day is coming soon. It never hurts to leave a hint.

Oh my goodness - I've never seen these before, but I absolutely love them! I LOVE the Hannah's prayer one - I'd love to hang that in the middle of the portraits of my 4 girlies! Also love the "today is the day" one and the "house is built" one. Emailing link to hubby!

I love words so much! Your sign looks great! You must be proud as punch to have that on your book table!

I looked around and I think my favorite is 'His eye is on the sparrow...' although really, it was hard to choose a favorite, b/c I liked them all. :)

She Knew that if she spoke the Truth, then the Facts would Change

That's my favorite. Our pastor is always saying "Speak it as if it already is rather than as it is not."

I tend to have a little problem with complaining so I LOVED "Today is the day You have made. I will Rejoice and be glad in it."

I have so much to be thankful for...which is why I was also drawn to: "Be thankful and say so to Him"

And, if she just happens to make one of those city ones for Washington DC, I will probably have to get it. :) (Can they be made even bigger or no?)

Great find!

I think it's funny that my favorites are the first one (she is worth more than rubies) and the last one (three strans). BUT I do love the two are better than one, too. =) So beautiful.

Oh, goodness - how can you just pick one of those things!! I fell in love with 2 or 3. This one stuck out the best though - http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15867301
"Be Thankful and Say So to Him" - I work on this daily - so to have it in front of me would definitely be a great reminder!! =0) Thanks for sharing Sue!!

I would gladly take ANY of them! I do have a weakness for words used as graphics. The one that catches me, though is "His Eye is on the Sparrow" and I like the little birdie too!

I love "Be thankful and say so to Him" A great reminder to be thankful for ALL things and to let HIM know.
"Love your book! 'Can't wait to pass it on to all my TSG friends"

My favorite is the first one you pictured: Wait Hope Expect

These words, in the light of trusting God, all mean the same thing to me. Those who WAIT or HOPE in the Lord will never be put to shame. Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord...says to me "EXPECT" in the Lord and He will show up! PTL. Thanks for these, Sue...they brought me encouragement in the midst of my loooooong journey to wherever God's taking me.

Love the style! I like all of them! My favorite were the "love" spoken here or never fails, and the one based on Hannah's prayer made on brown with cream lettering. So amazing! Thanks to passing on the fabulous find. :)

So cool! I am quite partial to the "Thankful" one and the one "I prayed for this child". I love art that has just words on it - especially in this simple and elegant fashion. I am so considering a little shopping trip on this site.......that is, IF I DON'T WIN ONE!

FINGERS CROSSING!!! :-)

"Today is the day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it" is the scripture that Cicely Tyson quoted when asked what she thought of Barak Obama's inauguration, so I think I am partial to that one.
