i'm grateful for beauty giveaway: lori sabin's music

I love Lori Sabin's music.
It is beautiful to me in a lot of ways.
I love the melodies. I love her voice. I love the words to her songs.
I loved the words to her song Let It Go so much that I e-mailed her and said,
"Can I put the words to your song in my next book?"
And she said, "Yes, you can." And now we are bffs.
Even though we have never had one lick of chocolate or one cup of coffee together.
Sometimes you listen to music and think,
"Holy Toledo, that person is singing my prayers or my listening in on my private
conversations with my best friend Sally. How does she know how I feel?"
It's because in our core, most of us tsgs long for the same things.
We long for peace of mind. For love. To be cherised. To raise our kids well. We want more hope and more Jesus and more chocolate. Not necessarily in that order.
And Lori's album speaks to those things.
So click right here or on the picture of Lori's album in the right sidebar and take a listen to Lori's song Let It Go.
Write your favorite line in the comments for a chance to win her CD.
Winner will be picked December 5.

Lovely! She reminds me of Sara Groves. Beautiful and pure.

for some reason I cannot get it to play on my computer. I am so moved by just reading the lines others wrote I cannot wait to hear it myself! I'll keep trying!

Hi Sue. I love her voice. Chloe would love this CD and would want to snatch it for her room. The line I like is let all the worry you hold on to - let it go.

Love, Traci

I can relate to the line, "all my fears, all the worries I try to hold on to..." the fact that we all need to "let it go" and give it all to HIm... thanks for the reminder, Lori!
