the book goes to Washington

My friend, Nina, decided that the book needed to be in DC for the inauguration.
As far as I can tell, the book is living a far more intriguing life than me.
But I'm okay with that.
First, the book went to coffee at Ebenezer's,

National Community Church's Coffee house, which sits diagonal from Union Station.
I think I've mentioned a time or 20 how much we loved our time at NCC
being on staff with some of the most hilarious and creative people on the planet?
But it bears mentioning again. Because we miss them.
And on most days I would love to go get a nice warm drink in Ebenezer's myself. Which is maybe why Jesus moved us back to California so I wouldn't bankrupt the family with my intake of beverages.
Then the book jogged on over to the Inaugural Launch Concert.

That momentous occcasion was followed by a jaunt over to the Capitol.

Which always gets me because it is so stately and symbolic.
I would like to say a special thank you to the cutest ever tour guide, Nina,
for including the book on her historical tour of Washington DC during such
a momentous time.
And if I can figure out how to get out there sometime in the near future?
I will surely be going to Ebenezer's for that drink.
