Just in case you didn't know....
Business (or bid-ness) item #1
You can ask your library to carry All I Need is Jesus and A Good Pair of Jeans: The Tired Supergirls Search For Grace and My Bangs Look Good and Other Lies I Tell Myself: The Tired Supergirls Search for Truth. And they will order it for you...for free! And then you can check it out...and then your friends can check it out...and your 5th grade teacher Mrs. Henderson can check it out after you tell her about it when you see her in the supermarket....
Did you know that? I just found that out from a fellow author. I learn new things everyday. Keep a look out for the upcoming Tired Supergirl Library tour....
(your help will be needed. :))
Business item #2
I am now speaking at churches and retreats, (which does result in some sweating and hot flashes and nervousness), and also results in some joy and fun and some amazing times of sharing about what God can do in a tired supergirl's life. If your women's ministry leader is looking for a speaker for a tea or a retreat and is not adverse to a sweaty speaker e-mail me at tiredsupergirl@gmail.com.
business item #3
This is more of a question than a business item for you tsgs out there....do you enjoy reading on a reader like a nook or a kindle or an i-pad? Or are you in love with real books? Or do you like both?
Business item #4
I posted a new blog over at faithchick (for heaven's sake) about my children's new tactic for staying up at night...they are small geniuses...not that I am a biased mother or anything.
And lastly but not leastly, business item #5
I just got a new face cleanser you may need to go out and buy right now.
L'oreal Go 360 Clean cleanser
Because it has its own built in scrubber that snaps into the bottle which eliminates
the need for a washcloth or a disposable scrubber and it is a nice little scrubber...like a little special exfoliating massaging tool...
(Do I sound like a commercial? Is it wrong that I get excited about something called a scrublet?)
I'm just saying that your mom always told you to wash your face and now it is even kind of fun...i don't take such things lightly.
And last, lastly...it's Saturday...hope you are enjoying a nice cup of tea and a lovely morning...from one tsg to another...soak it up.
I'm putting the water on right now.

congrats on the step into libraries and retreats...:)
looking for that face cleanser...my fave right now is the daily face exfoliator by aveeno, I think (I'll have to check). but i love it...smells nice and has little bubble beads that scrub without scratching!
I love books! I listen to them while I do my chores, read them in bed at night, and would love to try out a nook (it's on my Christmas wish list)! Thanks for making yours so available to everyone - I will definitely be asking for it at my library!

My hubby bought me a Kindle for my birthday/Christmas last year (although I didn't get it until March when friends came from the U.S. to visit and brought it -- didn't trust it to the postal system here).
Anyway, while I still MUCH PREFER a "real" hard copy book, having a Kindle has made my life so much easier. Living overseas, it's expensive and TIME CONSUMING to get books sent via snail mail. And some inevitably go missing in transit. So I do like the ease in downloading books IN SECONDS to my Macbook, and then to my Kindle (doing this avoids the $1.99 charge for downloading straight to Kindle).
HOWEVER, on furloughs you can bet I'll be scouring my favorite used bookstores for hard copies of my favorite books that I want to add to my library. Nothing compares to an actual hard copy of a favorite book!!!
isn't the name scrublet cute? I love mine.
i love reading books on my iPad since i have dozens of books on it and it doesn't weigh 40 pounds and i can carry all those books with me everywhere without throwing out my back. But NOTHING beats curling up on the couch on a Saturday evening with a good paperback!
