Because he is sweet like that, always ready to show affection.
Except that today he seemed a little puzzled as he leaned over me.
"Mom," he said, "sometimes it is hard to give you a kiss because your nose is so pointy."
As I started laughing and said, "Hey, that's not nice!"
He quickly re-assured me,
"Don't worry though, Mom! It's not as pointy as Gru's nose or Dr. Doofenshmirtz."
Thanks, Will. I feel so much better now.

Eloisa said a couple of weeks ago, "After you die, Mom, I will have you in my heart." She pounds her chest like a thug.
That's precious!
This is why I love kids! The other day my 4yo daughter said 'oooooh mom, you have BIG legs!' I could tell she meant it as a compliment so I told her it was because I ate all my fruits and veggies and grew big and strong :)...and then I added that other people may not feel so happy about their big legs so we should only tell Mommy that! I love my kids!

When my cousin was small, he took his dad's face in his hands and noticing a few wrinkles, told him, "Dad, your face is cracking up!"
