marty's smile

I have had some folks ask for an update on my friend, Marty.
And she has also asked that I purvey her heart felt thanks for all
of your prayers on her behalf.
The doctors were able to remove the tumor.
The surgery went well and the surgeons told her that if she had
not gone ahead with the surgery that within 5 years she would have died.
God's timing never ceases to amaze me.
Marty is on the mend. She has just started walking without a walker.
She is not on many pain killers and she has just started physical therapy.
And she is incredibly positive facing the road of healing that lies
before her and says God keeps showing himself so near during this time.
She does have some facial paralysis affecting her eye and her smile on one side. And that can be a bit disheartening.
The doctors have said it can take 6-12 months to recover.
And so in that arena, I am asking you to continue to pray for Marty.
To keep her in your prayers.
To pray for full restoration in those nerves in her face.
Pray for God to heal her smile.
Because God listens and answers when we pray.
Even when we don't know someone, we can still have an impact on their life.
And as for prayer, tsgs, I feel the more the merrier. Don't you?
