the undoing of a telemarketer

The phone rings in our kitchen.
Jack, our 9 year old, answers.
"Hello, who is this?"
Pause.
"Excuse me but are you selling something?"
Pause.
"I'm sorry but my parents don't have any money to spare."
Triumphant smile. Click.
When all else fails with deterring telemarketers....use the children.

I knew that they were good for more than spending the money. That is hysterical.

I just bought your book and found you. I am on lie #5. So far, they are all true.

Blessings.

Oh this is just precious!!

A couple of years ago my son got a great idea ~ he answers the phone in a very deep and adult like voice and say
"Walmart Pharmacy" EVERY.SINGLE.TIME they apologize and say I will remove this number from our list :)

It has been hilarious each and every time!!

Have a blessed weekend
