hello lovely friday

Friday is my favorite day of the week.
Friday is a let your hair down kind of day.
You've done all you can do for the week and
all you have in front of you is the anticipation of the weekend.
Sleeping in. Curling up with a book. Sipping a cup of tea.
Going for a walk. Playing a game with the kids.
Time with friends. Church. The weekend.
Can I get an amen?
I thought I'd let you in on a few of my other favorites.
So hear goes:
Favorite Cookie: Flourless Peanut Butter
(please feel free to add chocolate chips....I do....)

Favorite New Album: Colby Caillat
(The song "I do" is my favorite song)

Favorite New Video: Kari Jobe We Are

Favorite New Author:  Tasha Alexander

Favorite quote of the Day:

If you don't like how things are, change it! You are not a tree.
Jim Rohn

Favorite Verse:

But those who wait upon GOD get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don't get tired, they walk and don't lag behind.
Isaiah 40:31

It's Friday, friends.....let's do a little soaring.

One thing I love about growing older is how much I learn from younger people who somehow seem to be gaining wisdom at a much quicker pace. Who knew you could make cookies without flour? I look forward to your posts and love your books. Wonderful insights expressed with humour - you bless the young and the old! Thank you.

Thanks, Owen! I am sure I could learn much more from you than you can from me! :) But do put the chocolate chips in the flourless cookies....they are scrumptious!
